Solid food

Just wanted to post an update to how solid food is going & in one word-wonderful!

We have now tried sweet potatoes, apples, peas, & carrots. She loved all of them except for peas but I'm beginning to wonder if it was the brand. All her food has been earths best except the peas.

I want to make sure what she likes & doesn't like before I start making it. I plan on making a ton of what she likes during the week of thanksgiving when we both have 9 days off. I can't wait to make it! I'll definitely post what I find out on making baby food then.

After sweet potatoes-she loves them & can sure make a mess!

Apples-mom don't you have another jar these are good!

One thing I've learned don't use a cotton bib go for the wipe off one! They are wonderful & worth a little extra! This one is a bumkins & it works wonderfully it has a spill pouch & is large so she doesn't get it all over her clothes.

First foods are so fun. Tip: don't go overboard making the food. Babies change their minds on what they like. One day they love sweet potatoes, the next they don't.

I haven't bought a single jar of baby food for Cohen yet! All he's had is home made and it's been a ton of fun. Check out my blog for a post on how I make my own.

Thanks for stopping by my blog! :) The steamer I have is a Pampered Chef one - I earned it for free a while ago from one of our sell-a-thons. I'm sure Walmart or Target would have ones that would work fine.
