Your baby is now 5/8 of an inch long, about the size of a kidney bean. New this week: Webbed fingers and toes are poking out from your baby's hands and feet, his eyelids practically cover his eyes, breathing tubes extend from his throat to the branches of his developing lungs, and his "tail" is just about gone. His arms have lengthened, too, and his hands are now flexed at the wrist and meet over his heart. His knee joints have formed, and his feet may be long enough to meet in front of his body. In his brain, nerve cells are branching out to connect with one another, forming primitive neural pathways.
Absolutely amazing! Our baby is really forming
How Far Along: 8 weeks
Total Weight Gained/Loss: loss 2.8 lbs overall (maintain this week)
Maternity Clothes: starting to think about it since my clothes are getting tight
Sleep: could seriously sleep for 14-15 hrs a day, naps are the best!
Best Moment of the Week: getting to see our baby for the first time, what an amazing thing to see! (gotta keep the same thing since it hasnt been a week yet-such an amazing thing!)
Movement: not yet but cant wait
Food Craving: chili cheese dog, cheese grits with turkey bacon, grapes (yes its weird!)
Food aversions: anything fried, hamburger meat
Morning sickness: getting a little more, but havent thrown up yet
Gender: not yet, we will find out around Christmas
Labor Signs: hopefully not for a long time
Belly Button: in
What I miss: having energy, not being so tired, & sweet tea!
What I'm looking forward to: seeing our baby in another 3 weeks:)

Milestones: seeing our baby and it has a beating heart...amazing!
