Our appointment went really well. The funny part of it...one of my co-workers who is also pg did not know. Well we walked in and of course instantly I guess she knew something was up because its not every day that your husband goes to the Ob-gyn with you..haha! She asked "so is congrats in store for you" Yep.
We went back for the ultrasound and baby is measuring a little ahead and our new due date is June 1. We got to see our babys hb which was 141 (Chad thinks its a girl..haha, actually he is convinced its a girl we will see) and yes there is only one in there:) The monitor was a huge plasma TV it was rather neat to see it I must admit, you couldnt miss it. The heartbeat and baby was found almost instantly so that made me feel very relieved.
We really liked the doctor we went too (we had been going to a RE before and were released) and she gave us lots of information to read and samples of vitamins.
Our next appt is in 4 weeks Nov. 12....cant wait! Such exciting day! Its also my grandfathers birthday as well, he is now 91 yrs old.

So glad to hear that all is well! Seeing the ultrasounds and hearing the heartbeat will never cease to amaze you....I would always get choked up just listening on the doppler at my doctor appointments. Congrats! And Happy birthday to your Grandpa.

So cool! Just so happy for you & Chad! When is your anniversary? Would the baby being born on your anniversary be a possibility or would that be way too early?

Kathryn-its a very good possibility. Our anniversary is May 24 so a little over a week early.
