36 weeks

I feel and look HUGE! I did take a picture this week but yeah its not that grand. Behind me is some family rules that one of our friends made for us.

This week has been extremely rough but Ive made it through it. Ive had horrible nausea and the only thing that makes sense is her dropping that Ive read. She has gotten so much bigger this week and dropped a bit lower and my trips to the bathroom sure have increased as a result. Ive figured out that at times she gets so heavy and its very hard to stand for long now I guess because she is right on my bladder-guess thats a good thing. Contractions are a constant thing now but of course no real pattern.

On Thursday I start getting checked to see if Ive dialated or effaced at all Im hoping for anything. Still need to pack my bag and we will officially be ready after that for her arrival. I will have to post some new pictures of her nursery (just a few new things).
How Far Along: 36 weeks
Total Weight Gained/Loss: gain 31.2 lbs overall (+3.2 lbs this week)-oh well for staying under 30 lbs-maybe 35?!
Best Moment of the Week: getting to the one month countdown-yeah!
Movement: oh yes right in the sides and has decided that I need to wake up when she kicks me so hard.
Food Craving: well this isnt a food but water with ice and not just the stuff you get out of your refrigertator but the good ice-it has helped my nausea so much which is just strange to me.
Food aversions: nothing
Morning sickness: nausea has really starting to hit bad again (read up and its a sign that the baby is dropping)
Gender: a GIRL-Morgan Elizabeth
Labor Signs: lots of contractions but not real pattern
Belly Button: in for now
What I miss: not being able to sleep (and having to get up 5 billion times to use the bathroom it seems like)
What I'm looking forward to: seeing our little Morgan on Thursday and also getting some maternity pics taken on Thursday too-yeah!
Weekly Wisdom:
Children need love, especially when they do not deserve it. ~Harold Hulbert
Milestones: realizing how big she truly is getting-oh my!

Congrats on 36 weeks. I can't believe how close you are.

I didn't know that about nausea from the baby dropping. Good to know, and I hope you are able to find some real relief from it.

Getting soo much closer. It seems like this time goes so slow b/c you're miserable but it will be here before you know it. Stay off your feet b/c the last thing you want is swelling & it doesn't take much.

I can't believe we're 36 weeks already. It seems so strange to say that I'm due "this month". You asked about the shirt I was wearing--it was from Motherhood Maternity. They were (are?) having a sale and the shirts are nice and lightweight for a hot summer. Plus they'll shrink down with our post baby bellies! ;) We're in the home stretch now girl!

Can't believe you're 36 weeks already! Hope the last few go by quickly for you. My sister has been really sick with all of her pregnancies and she loves to crunch on ice! It's the one thing that never makes her sick!
