Christmas Part 2 (In Mississippi)

After spending a few days in Alabama with all of Chads family we ventured back home Christmas Eve for our Christmas Eve service at church.

After Christmas Eve service at church we headed home and just enjoyed the rest of the day with our family. Morgan decided that night that she didnt want to sleep much because she was waiting on Santa of course.

Christmas morning we woke up and had all our family over for sausage balls, cinnabon cinnamon rolls and cream puffs-yum!

Morgan of course had to play in her jumper since of course that is by far her favorite thing to do now!

After everyone eating Morgan got a head start on her gifts while everyone sat and waited for her of course since she was the star of the show for the day!

her little laptop because she will definitely be a techy baby since her mommy and daddy both work in technology.

Christmas Part 1 (In Alabama)

This will have to be in two parts because I have too much to write for just one post. We have Christmas in Alabama (part 1) with all Chads side of the family and then Christmas in Mississippi (Part 2) with all my side of the family. Stay tuned tomorrow for Part 2 and then hopefully before I go back to work her 7 month post as well.

Tuesday December 21 was a half day for Chad and I and after we got off work we headed up to Alabama and we were there until December 24 (Christmas Eve).

A Theatrical Debut

Little Miss Morgan made her theatrical debut this morning, as one of several angels in her daycare's Christmas production.

So it wasn't The Shawshank Redemption, but it may have been better than Glitter.

All of the kids worked really hard on this production, especially Morgan, whose part included Mommy enthusiastically carrying her on stage while Daddy watched from a distance, with camera in hand. Grandma and Grandpa made an appearance, too. While on stage, Morgan was a perfect angel (pun intended).

The post-production party doubled as a birthday party for Jesus, and we were allowed to mingle with the stars. And the shepherds. And the sheep. And you know, I'd like to think that there is delight in the throne room of Heaven when the sounds of children singing "Happy Birthday" to Jesus is heard.

6 Months

Wow half a year has gone by and I'm still in amazement of this beautiful little girl that I fall deeper and deeper in love with every day! Im only a few days late on her 6 mth post.

Weight: 15 lbs  (35th percentile)Height: 26.5 inches (80th percentile)
